Ke'Shawn S. Redmond was born to Monique Brazelton and Saesal Redmond on August 14, 1987 in Chicago, Illinois.
Ke'Shawn graduated from Fenger Hugh School and also attended Harold Washington College. Ke'Shawn was a member of New True Love M.B. Church. Ke'Shawn loved to cook and barbecue. One specialty that his family loved was his cheesecake.
Ke'Shawn held a variety of jobs including United Parcel Service (UPS), Citywide Janitorial, and the City of Chicago (Snow Removal Division).
Ke'Shawn leaves to cherish his memory his devoted mother, Monique Brazelton; his father Saesal Redmond; his brother, Demetrius Melton, Jr. (Shinta); his half-sister, Shakilya Redmond; his grandmother, Yvonne Wright; his grandfather, Percy Redmond; seven aunts, Dena Deransburg (Chipor), Tina Wright, Kim Essex, Catrice Carthans, Sawarrelita Redmond, Arrianne Redmond, Dania Redmond (Robert); two uncles, Theophilus Carthans (Luecille), Aloyilus Redmond; a special nephew, Demetrius Melton III; and a host of other relatives and friends. Ke'Shawn's paternal grandmother, Mary Flora Carthans, preceded him in death.
