Janice Elaine Johnson-Bennett was the only child born to the union of Inez Hatchet and Ida Lee Johnson on September 10, 1959 in Salem, Alabama.
Janice graduated from Keith High School in Salem Alabama, where she met and married Charles Bennett and they move to Chicago, Illinois in 1977 and five (5) children were born to this union. She also attended Kennedy King College, where she was pursuing a Degree in Nursing.
Janice worked for California Garden as a Housekeeper for many years.
Janice was preceded in death by her son Darien Johnson.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband Charles Bennett; her mother Ida Lee Johnson; four (4) children: Latasha; Darrell; Erick and Derick Johnson all of Chicago, Illinois. Thirteen (13) grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
