Obituary for Eric "Guitar" Davis
Parents of Dorothy Walker & Bobby Davis in Chicago, Illinois.
Eric known to many as “Guitar” Davis attended Anthony Overton School and graduated from Dumber High School.
Though Eric never really attended church, he was a firm believer in God.
“Guitar” was a very fun person, he like to joke, play around, spend time with his family, travel all around the world playing “the blues”, and although Eric known that he was good at what he did he only run with everything that had something to do with music.
We may have lost our loved one “Guitar” however, he’s not lost he’s now making melodies in Heaven.
Eric A. Davis was called home to play in the band of the Heavenly choir on December 19, 2013.
Eric's Mother Dorothy Walker, and two sisters Loretta and Patricia preceded him in death.
Eric leaves to cherish all of the fun memories; A very wonderful wife that was there for him when times were hard and the roads got thin. She was Eric’s best friend to the end Leslie Bell Davis. Three Children; Isaiah Davis, Jemyria Davis, and Mystery Davis. Three Stepchildren; Breanna Taylor, Brittaney Taylor, and Ivory Taylor. His Father Bobby Davis. One Brother Robert (Michelle). Three Sisters; Stephanie, Rosie and Janice, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Many Friends, and his number one band who all loved and cherished him very much!
