Obituary for Queen E. Patterson (Conway)

Queen Ester Patterson was born in Dundee, Mississippi. September 22, 1945 to Katie Mae Harris and Major Conway, Sr.
Queen taught Sunday School at Mt. Calvary under Rev. Dr. Parson and followed him to Logos Baptist Church under his leadership at Logos for over twenty years.
Queen was united in Holy Matrimony on June 14, 1965 to Bennie Patterson, Jr. This union spanned forty-six years until Bennie made his transition on May 13, 2011.
Queen was educated through Coahoma Public School System. She graduated from Rosa Fort High School in Tunica, MS.
Queen was a mother, housewife, and she retired from Holiday Inn after twenty five years of service.
Queen loved to cook and tend to her plants. She loved her dogs: Barney & Brandy.
Our Queen made her transition on July 5, 2011.
Her husband, Bennie Patterson, Jr; mother Katie May Harris, father Major Conway, Sr., & brother Sam Conway all preceded her in death.
Queen leaves o cherish her memories: a daughter, Brenda Dunlap (Anthony), Sons, Carl Conway, Richard Patterson, Bennie B. Patterson, Sr. (Terra), her Sisters, Helen Conway, Ruth Chapman (EL), Carolyn Bond, Shirley Allen (Leroy), Debra Reed (Mark), Barbara Clark Boliver), Pamela Conway. Her brothers: Major, Jr. (Judy), Lenard (Margiere), Willam, Melvin (Sharon), sister-in-law, Kathy Conway, brother-in-law: Bobby Bond, aunts, Ruth Conway (Kansas City, MO), Verneice Agee (Chicago, Illinois), uncle, James (Frenetter) Conway Montgomery, AL, great aunt, Annelle Harris Clarksdale, MS, eight grandchildren, Chanel, Anthony, Jr., Kourtney, Brandon, Demarco, Bennie B. Jr., Victoria and Lil Queen. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members & friends.
